Pregnancy is recommended at the earliest 1 year after gastric sleeve surgery. Pregnancy can be considered after weight loss stops and the body stabilizes itself. Otherwise, growth retardation may occur in the child.
In the first nine months after gastric sleeve surgery, only stomach preservatives and multivitamins need to be taken. After nine months, these drugs are discontinued. So there is no lifetime drug use.
The age range between 18 and 65 is appropriate for this surgery. However, if the necessary permissions are obtained, people over 65 years old may also have this surgery. If it is absolutely necessary, the 16-17 age group may have the surgery as well.
If you do not have a manuel labor and you work in the office environment, you can work 1 week after the day of the surgery.

Pre-operative examinations and if everything goes well, the patient will be hospitalized for a total of three days with postoperative observation.
